We are incredibly excited to extend our welcome to the greater Clayoquat community for our second ever Open House! This will be a fun and insightful opportunity to learn more about what Cedar Coast’s mission is, and how we hope to collaborate and share this space with all of you! “Where and when exactly is the Open House?”
The event will be held on Sunday May 6th at our current headquarters, The Vargas Island Inn. The main BBQ and food tables will be arranged outside under the covered porch.
“Do I need a boat to get there?”
We will be providing free round-trip shuttles from the Atleo dock in Tofino on our 11 passenger station skiff. This service will be offered on a “first come- first serve” basis. The schedule for departures is as follows:
TOFINO –> VARGAS
- 2:00pm
- 3:00pm
- 4:00pm
VARGAS –> TOFINO
- 6:00pm
- 7:00pm
- 8:00pm
“Should I bring anything?”
A smile, some friends, and appropriate Tofino attire for the weather conditions!
“What can I expect?”
We will be providing a vegetarian and vegan friendly BBQ, a tour of our operations, and perhaps an impromptu jam session if musicians unite. We have an in-house fiddle player and a couple guitars to make for a great evening. Please feel free to bring instruments, voices, and your dancing gumboots! Check our facebook post to see more.
