Education
Cedar Coast Field Station Society creates educational programs and curriculum that provide an opportunity for learners to develop a more ecologically grounded perspective through place-based experiential learning. We believe fostering an ecological perspective, for all ages, is of great importance since education influences attitude, and attitude reveals the environmental policies we stand by. Our education committee is made up of teachers and place based educators with a passion for the outdoors!
As of November 2022, Cedar Coast Field Station Society is not directly hosting education programming, but we are supporting the continued development of curriculum and learning opportunities which will be accessible to visiting groups at The Cedar Coast on Vargas Island.
